Would it be madness to sell my house and then go travelling?
My house needs a fair bit of money spent on it, which I don't have at this present time. I'm thinking of selling it and then travelling around a bit for a couple of years and then rent a place when I come back. Has anybody else considered doing this? Is there anybody who has done it with no regrets?

Neighbours from hell and trying to sell my house?
We had the police called on them 3 years ago and have that on record. When declaring problems with neighbours, do you only have to declare problems in the last so many years or is it problems since living at the property? Please only answer if you know for sure.There is a question there but it had to be written in two halves as there wasn't enough room.We've had a series of problems but the last was 3 years ago. They still are a problem but we've held off making complaints because we were hoping to sell and someone mentioned that you only had to declare problems in the last 3 years. Now someone has just said that you have to declare problems that you've had since living there and that there is no limit on years. Does anyone know if there is a time period?

Will I be able to sell my house? Work done without a permit?
Two years ago, I had a family friend that used to be a contractor build a 2nd bathroom in my NJ house. It was added to an existing laundry room with easy access to all the plumbing..pretty simple job. The thing is I just realized that I don't think he ever took out permits for doing this. I am not planning on selling anytime soon but now I am worried that I won't be able to sell my house because no permits were taken out for this renovation. I have taken out permits for all other work done new furnace, radon remediation, A C, deck, fence, alarm system, etc What will happen when I sell?

Should I re-paint my kitchen before selling my house?
We are getting ready to sell our house and don't know what I should do about my kitchen walls. Right now they are a cranberry red color which looks nice but most people say to have neutral colors on the walls. Will red walls be a problem with selling the house? I need some tips on selling my house im so desperate to move. Its on the market for 3000 les than it was valued at and open to offers but still had just 2 viewings.I always make sure the house is spotless before a viewing, and have recently had new kitchen and bathroom fitted in a modern style, integrated appliances etc. The decor throughout the house is neutral and i have cleared out all my personal bits and sent them to my mums to avoid looking cluttered or too personal. I just dont know what else i can do and im getting so stressed please help any tips is greatly appreciated
